Pebbles undergoes physiotherapy after 'footballers' surgery

Pebbles is a beautiful seven year old golden American Cocker Spaniel. It was late in March when she was chasing a ball at the local park. Unfortunately the cruciate ligament, which lives in the knee of her left hind leg, couldn't take the strain - it ruptured!

This is Pebbles three weeks after having her ruptured cruciate ligament repaired at Blackburn Veterinary Centre. She is much happier and able to weight bear well on the leg already. She receives weekly post-operative checks so that her progress can be monitored carefully. Like the footballers that have suffered the same injury, Pebbles is also undergoing physiotherapy as part of her recovery program.
