This month we welcome to the world 8 gorgeous baby rabbits that are proudly owned by Keiron. Millie, Zeke, Hazel, Brindy, Freckles, Bobbie, Yuri and Yoda are all doing well.
Meet "Pancakes" a 12 month old lopped ear bunny who presented at the clinic one morning with 3 new babies. Her owner was very surprised as they now had an "instant family"! (much to the delight of their daughter). "Pancakes" had been very busy indeed. She had dug out some weeks ago and visited her next door neighbour "Mr Big Ears" (the neighbours undesexed male rabbit).
Meet "Bailey" Doyle one of our regular bunny visitors. He is quite content munching through a variety of fresh veggies that his owner kindly prepares for him daily! Lucky boy! And why shouldn't he be happy? This is the food rabbits should be offered to eat.
Hamish a shorthaired English male guinea pig was observed by his owner as having a weeping left eye. Hamish was kept with his other guinea pig friend in a hutch and their bedding consisted of grass hay.
Bert' a 3 month old male shorthaired male Guinea Pig, was brought in to clinic because he had lost his appetite over the previous two days. This was quite unusual for 'Bert' as his owner reported that he had always had a ravenous appetite and he was even knocking back his favorite treat of broccoli.
