Dr Sunny graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2023 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health & Disease. Since graduating, she has worked in small-animal general practice as well as a combined shelter and GP role, giving her experience across a wide variety of cases. Sunny enjoys the variety of general practice and particularly values getting to know her patients and helping owners feel comfortable and informed about their pets’ care. She speaks both English and Mandarin.

Originally from China, Sunny has called Melbourne home for more than 10 years. Outside of work, Sunny has two cats and a three-legged toy poodle. She loves taking her dog to explore different parks and new places around Melbourne. In her spare time, she also enjoys reading, painting and nail art — although veterinary work has made the last hobby a little less practical!
